As a relatively new not-for-profit that continues to expand, Daily Table offers a variety of ways for interns to engage with our work. We are still building our customer base and sources of food supply. We are actively engaged with the community and recruit and supervise volunteers. We are in the process of starting a teaching kitchen program at our Dorchester store to promote health through a better diet. We are always trying to improve our outreach through social media and marketing. And we are opening a second location in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston in the summer of 2017. Interns might assist with any of these projects (based on Daily Table’s need and agreed upon preference during selection process) as well as general store assistance. Interns are an integral part of the senior team with accountability and a voice at the table.
